Our MSW Online 社会工作 program is considered part-time, allowing students to complete a Field Practicum of 每周10小时 while taking one additional practice course each semester.
The program offers two entry points — the one that’s best for you will depend on your educational background 和 experience prior to enrollment.
高级课程
Current Bachelor of 社会工作 holders may be eligible for our online Master of 社会工作 高级常务课程. This 10-course, 36-credit-hour track can be completed in as few as two years (six semesters). It offers an accelerated pathway where students learn how social workers function at multiple levels 和 roles, 诊断, 评估, 和 offer treatment for mental illnesses 和 addictions, 和 utilize different methods of practice to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
Those entering the program as Advanced St和ing will complete only the 临床 Field Practicum.

Our online Master of 社会工作 基金会 Plan is intended for those looking to refocus or pivot their careers. 这17-course, 62-credit track is open to all eligible students with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 和 can be completed in as few as 10 semesters (40 months). It uses a strengths-based problem-solving approach, helping students learn to support individuals, 家庭, 和 communities in overcoming adversity, underst和 how populations are affected by social needs 和 policy, 和 facilitate outreach to those facing accessibility needs 和 other adverse circumstances.
Students entering the program without a bachelor's degree in 社会工作, or those receiving their BSW more than five years ago, will complete two Field Practicum experiences, 基金会 和 临床.

俄亥俄州's Online Master of 社会工作 program is a 临床都市固体废物计划 focused on preparing students in advanced clinical practice while also providing them with skills transferrable across all practice levels. Students in their Advanced 临床 Field Practicum will engage in activities involving diagnostic 评估ment, including mental health factors, 成瘾的因素, 以及创伤史, while utilizing the most current DSM criteria, engage in therapeutic intervention of mental 和 emotional disorders, 临床文档, 和 other clinical practice activities.
Our online MSW program has established relationships with over 500 agencies nationwide. Students attending the online MSW program will work with the Department of 社会工作 online field faculty to identify appropriate field placement settings in their geographic area.
Students may be eligible to utilize their current employment 和 employee roles as field practicum hours when tasks 和 roles can be directly linked to the nine CSWE 2022 社会工作 Competencies, 行为, 练习的水平. Employment-Based Placements are not guaranteed. Students will submit an Employment-Based Field Application for review to determine if the agency 和 employment meet the criteria for the student’s current practicum level.
