The 健康艺术 graduate certificate allows any graduate student at newbb电子平台 to learn a breadth of foundational concepts related to the Fine 健康艺术 theory, 实践, 和研究. Students will have opportunities to provide analysis of visual art, 跳舞, 剧院, 音乐, film or philosophy of art in relation to health, as well as have unique opportunities to experience community 健康艺术 实践s.
This online certificate requires two 健康艺术 courses and two electives chosen from pre-approved graduate courses in Arts Administration, 公共卫生, and Integrated Health Sciences disciplines. The certificate allows degree seeking and non-degree seeking students opportunities to gain foundational knowledge in 健康艺术 while exploring topics related to their own interests in the arts and health sciences disciplines.
All classes are offered online either through 雅典 Online or eCampus except for some elective choices. The certificate requires the student to take four 3-hour graduate courses, two which are required and two chosen from a list of pre-approved electives. Courses can be completed over two semesters.

Upon completion of the certificate, students will be able to:

– Engage in successful community-based 健康艺术 volunteer experiences.

Students interested in the 健康艺术 Certificate and who are performing, visual or literary artists are encouraged to consider the Master of Applied 健康艺术 which would allow them to have more applied experiences and obtain a deeper understanding of how to utilize their art in healthcare, 公共卫生, 以及社区健康项目.
其他 options are to contact the directors of the 艺术管理硕士 or the Master of Integrated Health Studies to explore overlaps between the certificate and those programs.
