中部大学's beautify campus makes this a wonderful home away from home. The Chubu Region is located in central 日本 and is home to many mountainous areas. It is popular with hiking and outdoor enthusiasts. The local transportation system is excellent and makes access to cities and sights throughout the region and 日本 easy.

This program is focuses on 日本ese language study. 中部大学 offers courses in 日本ese to students at all proficiency levels. 学生 will be selected and nominated for a limited number of spaces. Candidates should have an established interest in the 日本ese language and should show maturity, 专业, and ability to live and travel independently.

生活安排 

学生 live in double-occupancy rooms in an International Student Dorm on the 中部大学 campus. 学生宿舍有厨房, so you can cook your own food or eat at one of several cafeterias and restaurants located within walking distance. 提供亚麻布(一套蒲团). 

A number of student event and festivals are held at 中部大学. The closest station is only 10 minutes away by bus. The station offers access to 名古屋 and other points of interest.

• Yamada Kazuo short fall semester: September to December

交换 participants enroll in 日本ese language classes and credit will transfer back to newbb电子平台. 学生 are placed into levels equivalent to their proficiency level at 俄亥俄州. 学生 will earn approximately 16-20 credit hours per semester at Chubu.

Participants should plan for 12-20 credit hours of tuition*, 行政费用, and out-of-pocket costs including costs for potential required quarantine upon arrival. Below are the student budget worksheets for this program, which outlines these costs.

Items that are not related to the program (i.e., 更多的娱乐, 纪念品, 额外的旅行, contingency funds) are not included in the cost estimates provided and should be budgeted for separately.

• Non-resident surcharge waived for the credit hours associated with this program. 
• 如果你被提名参加这个项目, you will be required to pay a deposit to confirm your participation. The deposit is a down payment on the total costs to be billed by 俄亥俄州 and is determined by the total cost of the program.

Applicants must have at least one year of college 日本ese or the equivalent and possess a minimum cumulative 3.0的绩点.

This program does not accept NON-俄亥俄州 students.

被考虑参加这个项目, participants must have a at least a high school diploma or the equivalent (e.g. GED) by the start date of the program to be considered for eligibility.  学生 enrolled in College Credit Plus (CC+) are not eligible for study away programs.
