概述

The 现代语言学系 at newbb电子平台 has established a one-year Graduate exchange program with the Department of English Philology at the 教师 of Philology, 塞维利亚大学 在西班牙. The program receives administrative support from the 全球机遇办公室 at 俄亥俄州 and the International Center at US.

Sevilla is the capital of Andalucía in southern 西班牙 and has about 700,000 residents. 这座城市坐落在瓜达尔基维尔河上. Sevilla is a framed in the traditions and history of the past but has a modern edge. The city is noted for its architecture, monuments, festivals and museums. 在塞维利亚当学生的时候, you will experience first-hand the culture of siestas and tapas, 同时也在探索这座城市, 附近的海滩和西班牙其他地方.

In this exchange program, graduate students study at US for a full academic year. The stay is typically sandwiched between the first and second year of the 俄亥俄州 MA program. Participants have the amazing opportunity to complete relevant coursework and gain practical 教学 and research experience. After the completion of one year as a non-degree seeking student at US, 学生返回俄亥俄州完成他们的硕士学位.

• Non-resident surcharge waived for the credit hours associated with this program.

The Department of English Philology at US will annually offer one 教学 assistantship to one 俄亥俄州 graduate student in the program. The 俄亥俄州 student will receive a minimum stipend of 11,500 € per academic year.

俄亥俄州 students at US teach up to 24 European credits (ECTS) in courses of the first years of the Degree of English Studies and hold weekly required office hours. 学生 also devote up to 13 hours per semester scholarship/research-related collaborations with faculty or research teams in English and/or Spanish within or outside the immediate laboratory/classroom setting. This program is open to graduate students in the MA in Spanish program in the 现代语言学系. Participating students must be in good academic standing and at minimum have a 3.研究生阶段的平均绩点为0. 学生 are required to submit three (3) letters of reference, a statement of purpose in English and a sample paper in Spanish. 此外，还需要面试.

学生 who do not currently hold a valid passport are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible.
