SOIMA is an OU-HCOM organization dedicated to increasing knowledge and understanding of Internal Medicine and the many sub-specialties that fall under the IM umbrella. It also provides members access to The American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI), our parent organization, for professional development, 指导, and continuing education opportunities.

SOIMA facilitates interconnectivity between OU-HCOM student organizations, as is the nature of Internal Medicine, through our clinical skills events. We also participate and encourage members to engage in the 国家D.O. Day of Service every spring by organizing a volunteering event. (Details for the 2025 D.O. Day of Service are forthcoming).
