These major components include the study of the biology and epidemiology of Chagas disease in 厄瓜多尔 and in the United States; the improvement of the safety of the blood supply in developing countries; and the Healthy Living Initiative. Activities related to these research foci take place in my laboratory at newbb电子平台, 雅典, OH, as well as in the Center for 研究 on Health in Latin America (CISeAL) at Catholic University, 基多, 厄瓜多尔.
