克利夫兰Do大学预科项目

The Heritage College’s Aspiring D.O.大学预科项目 is a comprehensive, two-year STEM-based pipeline program. This program is for current high school juniors focused on fostering their interest in pursuing careers in science and health care.

项目的目标

  • Increase students' understanding of health/medical careers and stimulate lifelong interest in education (particularly science/math).
  • Broaden students' exposure to science, math, and the college admissions process.
  • Provide students with knowledge, 经历, and tools they need to graduate from high school, apply to college and obtain future employment.
  • Assist students in developing a support system of academic and career mentors and advisors to assist them in career choices.
  • Provide students with close interaction and team-building activities with peers from other high schools (precursor to college experience).
  • Build the pipeline for future physicians and health care workers in 克利夫兰/Northeast Ohio.
