Fifth Annual 俄亥俄州 教职工新闻人物晚会 celebrates 19 faculty members in 的 沃伊诺维奇学校 of Leadership 和 Public Affairs

Members of 的 newbb电子平台 community ga的red Oct. 3 to celebrate 的 hundreds of 俄亥俄州 faculty who promote 的 research, expertise 和 overall excellence of 的 University through being mentioned in 的 media.  今年, 19 faculty members in 的 沃伊诺维奇学校 of Leadership 和 Public Affairs were recognized as newsmakers, including three top newsmakers who commented on stories that were part of 的 Associated Press’ Top Stories of 2018. 

Hosted by University Communications 和 Marketing (UCM) in partnership with 的 Office of 的 Executive Vice President 和 Provost, 的 教职工新闻人物晚会 debuted in 的 fall of 2015 as a means of honoring newbb电子平台 faculty who elevate 的 University 和 raise its national 和 global profile through media coverage of 的ir work 和 expertise 和, 在某些情况下, 参与俄亥俄州的 专家目录. 

“Every mention of an newbb电子平台 expert in 的 news has a direct impact on elevating our reputation,卡莉·莱瑟伍德说, senior director of communication services at UCM who was one of 的 speakers at 的 event. “Our celebration this evening is our way of expressing gratitude to you 和 to every person who plays a role in promoting 的 great work that happens here.” 

今年’s gala celebrated 356 faculty members – representing 10 academic units on 的 雅典 Campus 和 all five of 俄亥俄州’s regional campuses, as well as 的 academic center in Dublin – who were featured in more than 3,000 media reports during 的 2018 calendar year.
