现代语言 Giving Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in supporting the Department of 现代语言. Our funding priorities include undergraduate scholarships to assist with enrollment, and graduate student support for travel and stipend enhancements.
Below is a list of current funds you can support today with an online gift:
一般支持
- Provides discretionary support for the Department of Modern Language’s current needs.
The Modern Language/Language Lab Discretionary Account
- Provides funding to be used for equipment, materials, travel, and other necessary expenses.
The Ohio Valley Foreign Language Alliance
- Provide funding to support the Ohio Valley Foreign Language Alliance.
- Supports the teaching of 西班牙语 at 俄亥俄州.
- Supports the teaching of 法国 at 俄亥俄州.
- Supports the teaching of 德国 at 俄亥俄州.
- Supports the teaching of Italian at 俄亥俄州.
出国留学 奖学金
- Awarded to students who participate in a study abroad program, who hold at least a 3.4平均绩点.
- Provides scholarship for undergraduate students majoring in 法国 and studying abroad in France.
- Supports students studying 德国 abroad.
The Hocking Valley Bank 出国留学 Scholarship
- Scholarship awarded to students who have completed one year of a foreign language, and plan to study abroad.
- Provides support to students enrolled in a study abroad program in a 西班牙语-speaking country.
华莱士J. Cameron Memorial Scholarship
- Endowed scholarship supporting students studying 西班牙语 or Portuguese abroad.
Richard and Dolores Kirby 出国留学 Fund
- Scholarship awarded to full-time undergraduate students studying abroad in France.
Other Student 奖学金
M.A. Serna Maytorena Memorial Scholarship Fund
- Scholarship awarded to students majoring in 西班牙语, who have at least a 3.4 grade point average.
The Ursula Feer Farfel Scholarship in 现代语言
- Scholarship awarded to an undergraduate student on the 雅典 campus majoring in 现代语言.
The Maxine McCrory Memorial Scholarship Fund
- Scholarship awarded to full-time undergraduate students on the 雅典 campus majoring in 现代语言 or Economics.
- Supports full-time, undergraduate students majoring in 法国.
芭芭拉·J. Reichenbach Scholarship
- Scholarship awarded to third- or fourth-year students majoring pursuing a teacher certification in 法国 or 西班牙语.
玛丽L. Durnion 法国 Scholarship Fund
- Provides scholarship to third- or fourth-year undergraduate students majoring or minoring in 法国, who have at least a 3.5 grade point average.
杰拉尔德T. Wilkinson Memorial Award
- Provides scholarship for full-time undergraduate students at the 雅典 campus who major or minor in 法国.
USMP Phil Richardson Scholarship in 现代语言
- Scholarship provided to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of 现代语言.

Language Resource Center Coady Award
- Provides support to the Assistant to the Director of the Language Resource Program.
