辅修课程 (女生)

The coaching education minor will provide all students interested in athletic coaching (e.g., 青年, interscholastic or intercollegiate) with the opportunity to gain applied experiences and knowledge in the profession. Students with a coaching minor will strengthen their skills and knowledge to be able to assist head coaches, become 青年 sport head coaches and increase their potential for admission to a graduate program in coaching education. The coaching education minor requires a minimum of 16 hours.

Customer Service Leadership (OR8161)

The customer service 领导 minor provides a strong building block for many majors. Students work to enhance many soft skills that employers say are important in the workforce. The coursework provides practical ways to improve customer and employee relations. 
 

生态旅游认证 (CTECTO)

The certificate program in ecotourism is a multidisciplinary program focused on promoting sustainable tourism development through a balance of environmental, 经济, and socio-cultural aspects of nature-based tourism. Open to all newbb电子平台 students, the certificate is especially relevant to students majoring in outdoor recreation and education; recreation management; restaurant, 酒店, and tourism; global studies, 环境研究, 创业, and other business-related disciplines.  The certificate requires a minimum of 18 credit hours of coursework.
 

Festivals, Events, and 娱乐管理 Certificate (CTFEMU)

This certificate program is for all newbb电子平台 students who are interested in planning sporting 事件, recreational festivals and 事件, hospitality and tourism festivals and 事件, 音乐节和活动, 社区活动, and a wide range of other festivals, 事件, and entertainment experiences.
 

户外休闲 and 教育 Minor (OR8156)

The outdoor recreation and education minor prepares students for professional opportunities in the field of outdoor recreation and education. Students engage in traditional didactic and field-based learning opportunities to develop technical skills, 理论知识, 领导, and teaching abilities needed for successful practice as professionals in the field. Students have the opportunity to learn to organize, 引领, and evaluate a variety of outdoor adventure programs. The minor is intended to complement other fields of study related to outdoor recreation and education. The minor requires a minimum of 18 credit hours of coursework to complete.
 

休闲娱乐管理 (OR8109)

This minor focuses on the management of recreation and leisure services. Recreation management careers are broad-based and include municipal park and recreation departments, 校园娱乐, 营地, 码头, 度假村, 户外机构. The minor requires a minimum of 18 credit hours of coursework to complete.

零售 and 时尚的商品 小(OR6384)

The 零售 and 时尚的商品 Minor complements a variety of undergraduate majors where students are preparing to work with customers, 消费产品, in retail endeavors and the fashion industry.

Sports Coaching Certificate (CTSCCG)

Because of the significant role coaches play in sports, they must be educated in various areas to maximize the positive experience and development of athletes no matter the age or skill level.
