Policy

The Minors on Campus Policy ( #03.010)  为大学社区中从事与未成年人有关的活动和项目的人员制定要求, 以促进未成年人的安全和福祉为目标. Non-university affiliated program requirements will be outlined in a university agreement (contract) with each respective program pursuant to operational guidelines.

Training

Medical

  • All program directors and applicable counselors/staff must review these completed forms prior to camp and be prepared to accommodate the minors and store medications properly.

Background Checks 

必须对所有大学教员进行背景调查, staff, appointees, students, student employees, graduate assistants, and volunteers working for programs for minors (individuals under the age of 18 or under 21 years old if incapable of self-care because of a mental or physical disability) as follows:

  1. Any faculty, staff, appointee, student, student employee, graduate assistant, 或者志愿参加一个项目, 谁有可能承担照顾的责任, custody, 或控制未成年人作为项目的一部分(“个人需要接受背景调查”), 必须在项目开始前完成俄亥俄州刑事调查局指纹背景调查(“BCI检查”).

  3. Where required by law or where the individual is required to be background checked is engaged at a facility or as part of a program that involves the use of showering, changing or sleeping facilities, 个人必须同时通过BCI检查和FBI检查.

Steps to obtain a background check:
