Goal 2: Reduce or eliminate criteria air pollution from stationary (including, 但不限于, central heating & 冷却设备, such as boilers and chillers) and mobile sources, by reducing the tons of EPA criteria air pollutants from 61.7吨到58吨. 环保署空气污染物标准 是:二氧化氮, sulfur dioxide, 地面臭氧, 可吸入颗粒物, 一氧化碳和铅.

Current Data

Ohio University has committed to being carbon neutral by the year 2075, 但2050年的碳中和数据是为2021年的可持续发展而提出的 & 气候行动计划(见上文).

Fiscal Year 2012 (FY12) is the baseline year for Ohio University, and emissions have decreased substantially on the Athens Campus since FY12, 主要归功于:

• energy conservation measures through the Energy Infrastructure Project (EIP),
